Hello everyone, We are currently looking for interest from the parents and the community in hopes that we can have a season again this year. We plan to do something similar to last year with the field work needing to be completed before we will have registration. In addition to field work, we also need a commitment from parents to fill the coaches positions, we need at least one coach per team in every age group before registration will start. Last year we had 28 teams. Every year it is a struggle to find coaches. It is stressful and frustrating to call and beg parents and that is something we feel we shouldn't have to do. We are down to a small handful of board members and only a few of them are able to do the physical work that is required on the fields, so this is the plan for the upcoming season. We need the parents to help set up the fields and get them marked (painted). There are 9 fields that will have to be measured, marked and painted. There are 24 goals to move, anchor and put nets on. There are 8 bleachers to move, which takes at least four strong people, six people is even better. And all the equipment needs to be inventoried to see what's still good and what isn't so we can place an order for new stuff. We'll need to get ALL of this completed before June 13th. If that is able to happen and we pray that it does, we will need to put out yard signs, advertising about registration. We will also need parents to help out during the season, help set up on Saturday mornings, or put stuff away after games are over each Saturday, help out in the concession stand for an hour or just be out there, being involved.
