MEETING YOUR COACH & TEAM: Your coach will call you with a date and time for your first practice. If you don’t hear from your coach by August 27th please email us at blythevillesoccer@yahoo.com or contact us on Facebook.

PRACTICE: Practice days and times are to be established by the coaching staff of each team taking into consideration the scheduling needs of each team member. Apart from inclement weather each team must conduct at least one practice per week. This is to the benefit of all team members as they develop their skills under your coach’s instruction. Be sure to bring a drink for practice. The concession stand will not be open during the weekdays.

GAMES: You should arrive at the field 10 minutes prior to your scheduled game time. Coaches are to check each player to ensure they are in the proper attire (team jersey, shin guards, appropriate foot wear, no jewelry, etc.). Now is the time to make sure jewelry (including starter earrings) can be removed for games! It is recommended that you and other team parents work with your coach to arrange after-game drinks and snacks.

GOAL SAFETY: Please explain to your child that climbing or hanging on the goals or nets is very dangerous and is strictly prohibited. Tampering with or moving field equipment is prohibited. This is a rule that we take very seriously.

WEATHER SAFETY: When BASA board members are present (games or practice) they will determine if weather conditions require everyone to leave the fields. Coaches and parents must make that determination when BASA board members are not present during practice days. Everyone must abide by the board’s decision when told to seek shelter.

PARENT & PLAYER CONDUCT STATEMENT
In order to maintain a quality, wholesome, and family atmosphere I do commit the registrant and myself to behave in a respectable manner towards referees, coaches, board members, players, and other spectators. I agree to abide by the rules established by BASA. I understand that if I do exhibit verbally or physically abusive, disrespectful, or uncooperative behavior or other conduct that is deemed inappropriate I may be asked to leave the soccer fields for the remainder of the season or indefinitely.
Please remember that coaches are volunteers and as such are providing a valuable service to the club and the youth we support. You and your child will need to respect the coach and the rules. Practice times are established by the coaching staff of each team.

Thank You,

BASA Board Members
